The coves & beaches of Formentor

We set sail from Port de Pollença and follow the Formentor coast, from the nearest cove to the farthest, passing by Cap de Formentor (the order of the route may vary).

An impressive 17th-century fortress set on a private peninsula. Admiring its walls and spectacular gardens straight from the water gives you a unique perspective of the Pollença coastline.

An island classic for good reason: flawless turquoise water and a perfect sandy bottom for swimming. We anchor just a few metres from the shore so you can enjoy a swim away from the crowds on the sand.

An unspoilt cove that's hard to reach by land, so it's almost always quiet. Its crystal-clear water and rocky seabed are ideal for snorkelling and spotting fish with no one around.

A super-sheltered inlet, protected from the wind and surrounded by nature. Perfect if you're after total relaxation, a good dip and enjoying the boat with no swell.

The hidden corner of the cape. Very few make it out here, which makes it the perfect stop for anyone looking for privacy, transparent water and total quiet.

Seeing the famous lighthouse and cliffs from below, from the deck, is nothing like the view from the lookout. An imposing perspective that lets you appreciate the sheer scale of the Mallorcan coast.

7. Cala Figuera

Giant cliffs plunging into emerald-green water. The contrast of colours is stunning and it is, without a doubt, the best spot on the route for spectacular photos.

About the coves and routes

Can you reach these coves by road?
Most of them, no. Coves like Cala Figuera or Cala en Gossalba are practically only accessible by sea, and that's exactly their magic: arriving by boat and finding them almost empty.
Which trip visits each cove?
Sa Fortaleza and Formentor Beach are seen on every trip, including the sunset one (3h). Es Caló, Cala Murta and Cala en Gossalba are part of the 4h, 6h and 8h trips, and Cala Figuera and Cap de Formentor of the 6h and 8h ones. The route always adapts to the weather and to what you prefer.
Can we choose which coves to visit?
Yes. The route is a guideline and we adapt it with you on the day, depending on the sea, the wind and your preferences.
Is there time to swim and snorkel?
Of course. We anchor in the coves so you can swim, and we bring snorkel gear and a paddle board included in the trip.
